The financial district of Hyderabad is bracing for the ultimate showdown as the HPL season culminates in a championship match between the All Stars and the Credicon Mavericks. Hosted at The League venue, this Friday night finale marks the end of a rigorous season that has captivated the local community since October. While the match between the two top franchises is the centrepiece, the event is billed as a cultural spectacle, featuring a halftime performance by the legendary singer Lucky Ali and an appearance by actor and team owner Sushanth.

He noted that the league’s success lies in its hybrid nature: “HPL is not just sport — it’s entertainment, F&B, and pure community spirit”. This formula has turned Friday nights in Hyderabad into a city-wide ritual, where fans gather at various venues to support neighbourhood teams, enjoy food zones, and participate in a festive atmosphere.
The stakes are personal for the All Stars, a team owned by actor Sushanth. He views his franchise as a vehicle for athletic development within the region. “Being part of HPL as the owner of All Stars comes from my passion to bridge the gap between professional and amateur athletes,” Sushanth stated. He described the league as a project intended to “build a strong pickleball community and produce exciting players”.
The inclusion of Lucky Ali for the halftime show is a strategic move to elevate the event’s profile. Organizers promise that his performance will transform the championship into a “festival of music and sport,” offering fans a “blend of competition and soulful nostalgia” that is rare in regional sporting events.
